   Stephen Tonge is a teacher at Catholic University School in Dublin where he also went to school. He has a MA in International Relations from University College Dublin. He has been teaching both the Junior and Leaving Cert for over 15 years. He has a detailed knowledge of both the Junior and Leaving Certificate History Courses.

Stephen’s Junior Cert. history book ‘Living History’ is published by Educational Company. His Leaving Certificate book deals with the Case Studies for the America and the Wider World which is the prescribed documents course for the 2008 and 2009 examinations. He was a co-author of the Edco Sample Papers for the new Leaving Cert History course.

Stephen has worked as a senior examiner at Junior Certificate level for eight years sharing responsibility for helping teachers follow the agreed marking scheme while correcting the examinations.

He acts at present as the web administrator and Subject Matter Expert for the HIST website designed to help teachers with the new Leaving Cert course.
