Louise O’Reilly has been an advising examiner for the Leaving Certificate Honours English paper for the past 8 years and also corrects the appeals for this level. During this time she has gained valuable insight into the correcting process and the common mistakes made by students.
Louise has taught English and History to both Junior and Leaving Certificate students at all levels since 1993. Currently she is teaching at the Patrician Secondary School, Newbridge, Co. Kildare and has taught there for over 6 years. Prior to that, she taught in Killinarden Community School, Tallaght for 6 years.
Louise is the author of the revision book, 'Shortcuts to Success' for the Junior Certificate Higher Level English course and her next book in the 'Less Stress More Success' series, aimed at the Junior Certificate Ordinary Level student, was published in January 2007.
She has also taught Drama to Transition year and LCA students. She is involved in Debating , Drama and Musical productions. Her wide range of experience includes director, choreographer and actress and she has served on the National Executive Council of AIMS.
