   Meabh has taught Junior and Leaving Certificate students in Galway for several years. She is also a Leaving Certificate Oral Examiner & Junior Certificate Assistant Examiner with the State Examinations Commission (Cornamaddy, Athlone Co. Westmeath).

Correcting exam papers for the state examination commission has provided invaluable experience regarding where marks can easily be gained and lost. Meabh has been examining oral exams in Irish last year and this year at all levels, from very high level to Foundation Level.

Meabh provides regular design classes to teach Irish to groups of adults, some of whom are lecturers in third level institutions. The classes seek to improve confidence and fluidity in the language. Meabh has also taught for many years in Irish colleges, where an ability to speak fluent Irish and make the language interesting is important.
